I will leave this tent for the mansion
That is built for me over there.
I will close the door..
Be welcomed evermore.
Where the Saints have gathered on the shore.
—————————-
I will praise the name of my Savior
On the day this tent is taken down.
I will praise the name of Jesus
When He calls
To take me to the room He prepared.
—————————
Do you hear the rushing in the wind
It’s the wings of angels coming near.
They are coming for me..
To carry me home.
To my savior where I shall ever be.
—————————
I hear the voice of my Savior calling
Call my name as I fly through the door.
All the Saints are there with
My Mother and my Father.
I am home now… I see His face now.
—————————
Hallelujah to my Jesus
Hallelujah to His name
Hallelujah to my Savior
Evermore.
I am home now.. I see His face now.
————————–
Praise His name for evermore
Praise His wonderful name.
Praise the name of Jesus
Evermore.
I am home now. I see His face now

Beautiful write John. Just kept thinking while reading this that you’ll be one of those active spirits that, once gone, those still bound to this earth will seek the counsel of…and the earthbound could do a lot worse!

I agree with both Les and Chris, John – this is indeed beautiful work! A very finely penned poem/prayer, which once again, portrays your beautiful Faith, Hope & Love of/for God. Fluently expressed, very moving emotionally and most graceful, a true joy to read John. Resplendent visual detail with a very effective silk smooth flow. Another Poetic Masterpiece, to add to your vast collection, in this truly wonderful write. A privilege and a pleasure to read John. Thank You so very much for sharing.

this tent can never be taken down, for this is the place where the souls are found.

This tent, according to Paul, is the earthly vessel we occupy here on earth, we wiil be trading it in for a mansion.

This hymn is so beautiful. It calls forth whatever faith I may have once had.
