I will place some pictures of Southern Idaho here and tell you a little about the area. The main reason for this web site is to “publish” the stuff I have written over the years and to provide the music to the lyrics. Many people have ask when I was going to publish the stuff that I wrote over the years, so here it is. Go to the Poetry From the Heart page and enjoy. If you find something that touches you I would like to know about it.  So please leave a comment.  Go ahead…. I can take it!

Posts can be difficult to find at times so I have made a listing called Post Summary to direct you more easily. Hope this helps.

There is a lot more that will go in here so check back to witness the progress.

  2. John,
I really like the site. The poem “Jail (Redemption)” really mirrored my observations and experience as a volunteer chaplain at the jail. I just can’t express it as well as you have.

    Thanks.

  3. John - I was totally surprised to see your comment to Robert Martin about me on Hello Poetry - you are just a terrific person and your prose and poetry proves it. Thanks, pal.

  4. OUR THREE WORDS

    Faith, hope ,love
The lord said that he has given us three things
    Faith, hope, and love.
With love being the strongest of the three
He gave these strengths to you and me.

With faith- you could move mountains
    With hope- you never despair
With love- you conquer all things
    That takes away your cares.

If mankind could hold each others hand
    With love in their hearts.
There would never be a weak link
That could break this chain in two.

Because of the love we have is made for me and you.
So open up your mind and let the light fill you heart
For the beginning of a brand new start.
